Challenge

Daily sales data had to be exported, cleaned up and re-imported into accounting by hand, and shelf prices were maintained separately from the point-of-sale system.

Approach

Designed an integration layer between the POS, the accounting system and the electronic shelf labeling system, so transaction data flows into accounting automatically and the POS becomes the single source of truth for pricing.
